John Herndon has 34 years experience in the newspaper business and his talent was recognized over 100 times in annual contests sponsored by the Kentucky Press Association, the Society of Professional Journalists and Landmark Community Newspapers. His conversational tone, easy-to-read style and attention to detail earned accolades from his peers and endeared him to his readers.

However, John’s training is in ministry. He graduated as salutatorian of his class at Roanoke Bible College (now Mid-Atlantic Christian University) in 1982 and went on to earn a Master of Arts degree at Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary in 1989. He now serves a small church in central Kentucky. His burning desire is to serve God in all he does.
